Speaker:
Dennis Eichenbrenner
EVS-Safety
The subtitle "Plan it yourself instead of using an algorithm" already reveals that Dennis Eichenbrenner will present the possibilities of planning your own medical service in his lecture. He will also provide a general insight into the topic and the associated stumbling blocks, highlight difficulties and demonstrate different approaches.
Eichenbrenner has been working in the emergency services for 20 years and has gained a great deal of experience in the topic of "medical services at events", both as a rescue centre manager and as the head of operations for large emergency medical services.
Should organisers and planners rely on established calculation methods such as the Maurer formula and the Cologne algorithm, or should these methods be regarded as outdated?
Or does deviating from these established methods lead to uncertainties, perhaps even conflicts with the licensing authorities? In his presentation, Dennis Eichenbrenner will show that answering these questions is often difficult and that only well-developed calculations lead to convincing results.
Dennis Eichenbrenner is a specialist planner for visitor security and runs EVS-Safety, a company specialising in event security, fire safety and leadership management. He has been 1st Chairman of the bvvs (Federal Association for Event Security) since 2020.
With 20 years of experience, he is a specialist in all aspects of medical and rescue services: as a firefighter and fire safety officer, he advises companies and event organisers on fire safety. However, he sees his main area of responsibility in the creation of holistic safety concepts for small and medium-sized events such as city festivals, open airs and sporting events.
Eichenbrenner is an emergency paramedic and organisational head of the rescue service (OrgL), he managed the training rescue station in Constance for eight years. He is also a lecturer and hygiene officer.
