Yu Kang is the founding director of the research institute at Hangsen, a research unit dedicated to providing high-quality and high-stakes research to support product innovation and development. She started her career at CNTC for tobacco research and has been advocating for nicotine product innovations and harm reduction for over 10 years. She has stepped into the new tobacco product industry since 2019, and has been actively involved in promoting safer alternatives. In recent years, she has helped the company set up the product compliance and safety framework, completed a series of innovation projects and publish the scientific data.
